The Valmeyer Pirates baseball squad (Valmeyer, IL), 6-4 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL)

With the triumph, Red Bud upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Musketeers travel to DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league contest on Monday, March 23. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 3-0. DuQuoin won 7-1 in their recent non-league battle against Herrin (Herrin, IL)

Next, the Pirates face the Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 21. Valmeyer will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
