The Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) softball overwhelmed the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 16-2 in Friday's non-league test.

Next, the Tigers meet the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 20. Aztec will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Fighting Colts go into the test with a 4-5 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).

The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Gallup (Gallup, NM). The Bengals come into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Gallup was routed by Farmington (Farmington, NM), 20-5, in a non-league outing.
