California High School Softball - Pleasant Valley nipped by Clovis West

In Friday's non-league match, the host Clovis West Golden Eagles softball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Pleasant Valley Vikings.

The Golden Eagles (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 8-0 record.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Clovis East Timberwolves (Clovis, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 21. Pleasant Valley will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record. The Timberwolves go into the match with a 8-1 record after their 8-6 non-league win over Madera (Madera, CA).
