Utah High School Softball - Monticello bested by Wayne

The Wayne Badgers triumphed over the visiting Monticello Buckaroo softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Friday's league challenge.

Coming up next, the Badgers confront the Piute Thunderbirds (Junction, UT) in a battle, on Monday, March 23. Wayne will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 17-4 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, UT).

With the loss, Monticello moves to 0-2 on the season. The Buckaroo host Grand County (Moab, UT) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 24. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Grand County lost 18-12 in their recent league challenge against Parowan (Parowan, UT)
