Alabama High School Softball - Sulligent succumbs to Winfield

In Friday's non-league test, the Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL), by a tally of 14-0.

Next, the Pirates clash with the McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 23. Winfield will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 16-10 league win over Lexington (Lexington, TN).

With the loss, Sulligent moves to 6-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 31. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 5-6.
