Elba Tigers (Elba, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 15-14 in a non-league test.

With the win, Elba upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Zion Chapel (Jack, AL) to battle the Rebels in a 2A Area 3 test on Thursday, April 7. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 8-4.

With the defeat, New Brockton falls to 9-5 on the season. The Gamecocks host Opp (Opp, AL) to battle the Bobcats in a 3A Area 4 test on Thursday, March 24. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 11-4. Opp won 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Houston Academy (Dothan, AL)
