The Elkin Buckin' Elks baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Forsyth Home Educators Hawks to 9 in the Buckin' Elks non-league victory on Monday.
The Buckin' Elks (4-3) will now prepare for their match against East Wilkes (Ronda, NC). The Cardinals go into the Northwest 1A match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, East Wilkes was overwhelmed by Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC), 5-1, in a league match.
The Hawks (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Charlotte Stampede (Charlotte, NC). The Stampede go into the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Charlotte Stampede was overwhelmed by Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
