The Wilson Warriors got by the host Lexington Golden Bears baseball team by a count of 7-6 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colbert Heights for a non-league bout on Friday, March 25. Wilson will face a Wildcats team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-7.
Next, the Golden Bears face the Mars Hill Bible Panthers (Florence, AL) in a 2A Area 16 bout, on Tuesday, March 22. Lexington will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-4 record after their 18-8 non-league loss to Phil Campbell (Phil Campbell, AL).
