The Shannon Red Raiders baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Tremont Eagles to 0 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Red Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS). The Braves go into the 4A Region 1 match with a 4-5 record.
The Eagles (0-10) will now prepare for their match against Alcorn Central (Glen, MS). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Alcorn Central was overwhelmed by Water Valley (Water Valley, MS), 7-2, in a league match.
