Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Liberty Eagles (Bealeton, VA), 20-2 in a league battle.

The Mustangs now have a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Potomac Falls for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 23. Meridian will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Dominion (Sterling, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Orange County was overwhelmed by Eastern View (Culpeper, VA), 27-6, in a non-league game.
