In Monday's non-league contest, the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) softball team held off the host Clarke County Bulldogs (Grove Hill, AL), by a margin of 12-11.
With the triumph, Leroy moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Saraland (Saraland, AL) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Monday, March 28. The Spartans come into the contest with a record of 6-2. Saraland won 13-5 in their recent non-league contest against Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Sweet Water Bulldogs (Sweet Water, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Clarke County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
