The Lamar County Bulldogs (Vernon, AL) softball routed the host Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL), 11-4 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Berry (Berry, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Berry was routed by Fayette County (Fayette, AL), 12-9, in a non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host South Lamar for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 23. Winfield will confront a Stallions squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Berry (Berry, AL). The Stallions record now stands at 1-0.
