Scottsboro Wildcats (Scottsboro, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Grissom Tigers (Huntsville, AL), 12-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Scottsboro will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 4-4 non-league Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Grissom falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host New Hope (New Hope, AL) to battle the Indians in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 22. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-6. New Hope lost 6-5 in their recent non-league bout against Brewer (Somerville, AL)
