With the triumph, South Laurel improves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Perry County Central (Hazard, KY) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league game on Thursday, March 24. The Commodores come into the game with a record of 3-0. Perry County Central won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Martin County (Inez, KY)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 24. Lincoln County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 14-6 non-league loss to Russell County (Russell Springs, KY).
