Trinity Raiders (Whitesville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLean County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Trinity will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 18-16 non-league loss to Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY). The Cougars record now stands at 0-3.

With the loss, Ohio County falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Breckinridge County (Harned, KY) to battle the Fighting Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Fighting Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Breckinridge County won 10-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY)
