Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders (Jacksonville, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Open Bible Christian (Valdosta, GA), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Defenders now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hope Christian Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24. Old Plank Christian Academy will battle a Lions squad coming off a 11-6 league win over Brunswick Christian Academy (Brunswick, GA). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Open Bible Christian falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The host First Christian (High Springs, FL) to battle the Lions in a Independent challenge on Monday, March 28. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. First Christian lost 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Southside Christian (Waycross, GA)
