Kentucky High School Softball - Pulaski County bounces Whitley County

The Pulaski County Maroons routed the host Whitley County Colonels softball squad by a final score of 19-4 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Maroons (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Madison Central notched a victory over Scott County (Georgetown, KY), 5-2, in a non-league battle.

The Colonels now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Pineville for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 22. Whitley County will meet a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Harlan (Harlan, KY). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 2-0.
