The Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) softball routed the host Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA), 16-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Spartans (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA). The Hunters go into the Valley Mission bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Canoga Park was routed by San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 20-0, in a league bout.
