Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Skyline Hawks (Front Royal, VA), saw Broadway's baseball squad edge Skyline by a count of 3-2.

Coming up next, the Gobblers play the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 25. Broadway will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Flying Flucos enter the battle with a 1-2 record after their 8-7 league loss to Louisa County (Mineral, VA).

The Hawks now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sherando for a Northwestern battle on Thursday, March 23. Skyline will play a Warriors squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Fauquier (Warrenton, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-1.
