Game Summary

Canutillo Eagles defeated Jefferson 8-5 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at five w/ Canutillo batting in the top of the 7th when Isaac Garza tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Jefferson scored 5 runs in the 4th, but Canutillo still managed to pull out the victory. Alejandro Molina, Hugo Flores and Ricardo Osuna all had RBI's in the inning. Canutillo's Will Leeper sac fly in the first scored one run. Dante Gomez got the win for the Eagles. Gomez surrendered zero runs on one hit over two and a thirds innings, striking out one and walking zero. Justin Nicks threw two-thirds of an inning in relief. David Peru started the game for Eagles.
