The East Columbus Gators baseball team (Lake Waccamaw, NC), was overwhelmed 13-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing with the visiting Green Sea Floyds Trojans (Green Sea, SC)
The Trojans now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lake View for a 1A Region 6 outing on Friday, March 24. Green Sea Floyds will face a Wild Gators team coming off a 4-2 league win over Latta (Latta, SC). The Wild Gators record now stands at 2-1.
Next, the Gators face the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a Waccamaw 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, March 28. East Columbus will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Wolfpack enter the outing with a 3-4 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC).
