In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Long Reach Lightning baseball team scored a tight 7-4 victory over the Howard Lions.
The Lightning (2-0) will now prepare for their game against River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Hawks go into the Howard County game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, River Hill tipped Mt. Hebron (Ellicott City, MD), 8-2, in a league game.
The Lions (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Glenelg (Glenelg, MD). The Gladiators go into the Howard County game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Glenelg tipped Oakland Mills (Columbia, MD), 17-7, in a league game.
