North Carolina High School Baseball - Perquimans wallops North East Carolina Prep

Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC), 14-4 in a league test.

With the win, Perquimans upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Pirates travel to Bear Grass Charter (Williamston, NC) to battle the Bears in a non-league test on Thursday, March 23. The Bears come into the test with a record of 5-2. Bear Grass Charter won 10-0 in their recent league test against Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC)

With the defeat, North East Carolina Prep falls to 3-2 on the season. The host Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to battle the Pirates in a Four Rivers 1A test on Friday, March 24. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 4-4.
