With the win, North Stanly upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Comets travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Thursday, March 23. The Colts come into the test with a record of 6-2. West Stanly won 15-0 in their recent league test against Monroe (Monroe, NC)

With the defeat, South Stanly falls to 6-4 on the season. The Rowdy rebel bulls travel to North Stanly (New London, NC) to battle the Comets in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test on Friday, March 24. The Comets come into the test with a record of 8-2. North Stanly lost 4-3 in their recent non-league test against West Stanly (Oakboro, NC)
