North Carolina High School Baseball - South Caldwell loses to Watauga

The Watauga Pioneers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host South Caldwell Spartans to 8 in the Pioneers league victory on Tuesday.
The Pioneers (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Cougars go into the Northwestern 3A/4A match with a 5-4 record.
The Spartans (4-3) will now prepare for their match against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 0-8 record. In their last match, West Caldwell by West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
