North Carolina High School Volleyball - Butler tips Lake Pointe Academy

March 21, 2023: Matthews, NC 28105

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC), saw Butler's volleyball squad nip Lake Pointe Academy by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Butler upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, March 23. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Legion Collegiate Academy lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Sun Valley (Monroe, NC)

The Mariners now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a bout on Tuesday, March 28.
