The Gilbert Indians smashed the host Lower Richland Diamond Hornets soccer squad by a margin of 13-1 in Tuesday's league match.
The Indians now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mid-Carolina for a non-league match on Thursday, March 23. Gilbert will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Lower Richland drops to 3-4 on the season. The Diamond hornets host Swansea (Swansea, SC) to encounter the Tigers in a AAA Region 5 match on Friday, March 24. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-4.
