Next, the Bears confront the D.H. Conley Vikings (Greenville, NC) in a Big East 3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, March 23. New Bern will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC).

The Rampants now possess a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lenoir for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.
