In Tuesday's league battle, the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the West Rowan Falcons.
The Trojans (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders go into the South Piedmont 3A battle with a 0-5 record.
The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights go into the South Piedmont 3A battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Lake Norman Charter nipped East Rowan (Salisbury, NC), 11-0, in a league battle.
