In Tuesday's league battle, the host Socastee Braves soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Sumter Gamecocks.
The Braves (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Florence (Florence, SC). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, South Florence North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC), 1-1, in a league battle.
The Gamecocks (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Conway (Conway, SC). The Tigers come into the AAAAA Region 5 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Conway was overwhelmed by St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC), 9-0, in a league battle.
