In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting New Hanover Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the Ashley Screaming Eagle.

The Wildcats (6-0) will now prepare for their game against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Swansboro was overwhelmed by Laney (Wilmington, NC), 16-3, in a non-league game.

The Screaming Eagle (7-2) will now prepare for their game against South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, South Brunswick overcame Hoggard (Wilmington, NC), 8-3, in a non-league game.
