In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Brookland-Cayce Bearcats soccer squad scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins.
The Bearcats (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Dreher (Columbia, SC). The Blue Devils come into the AAA Region 5 match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Dreher got by Swansea (Swansea, SC), 6-3, in a league match.
With the loss, Orangeburg-Wilkinson drops to 4-3 on the season. The Bruins host Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to encounter the Indians in a AAA Region 5 match on Friday, March 24. The Indians come into the match with a record of 10-2. Gilbert won 10-0 in their recent league match against Lower Richland (Hopkins, SC)
