King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions face the Pee Dee Academy Eagles (Mullins, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 23. King's Academy will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Marion (Marion, SC).

The Dragons now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host King's Academy for a SCISA A Region II challenge on Friday, March 24. Marlboro Academy will face a Lions team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Pee Dee Academy (Mullins, SC). The Lions record now stands at 2-1.
