Atlanta Rabbits (Atlanta, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Boston Lions (New Boston, TX), 12-4 in a league challenge.

The Rabbits now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pewitt for a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, March 24. Atlanta will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to De Kalb (De Kalb, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, New Boston falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Queen City (Queen City, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 14 challenge on Friday, March 24. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 15-6. Queen City won 8-3 in their recent league challenge against De Kalb (De Kalb, TX)
