Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Graham G-Men (Bluefield, VA), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Beavers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bland County for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 22. Bluefield will battle a Bears squad coming off a 14-9 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Graham falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The G-men travel to James Monroe (Lindside, WV) to battle the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. James Monroe lost 6-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Princeton (Princeton, WV)
