The Emerson Mavericks softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Centennial Titans to 0 in the Mavericks league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Emerson improves its record to 5-12 on the year. The Mavericks host Independence (Frisco, TX) to clash with the Knights in a 5A Region II District 10 game on Friday, March 24. The Knights come into the game with a record of 0-12. Independence lost 13-1 in their recent league game against Lebanon Trail (Frisco, TX)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 10 game, on Friday, March 24. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Coyotes come into the game with a 17-1 record after their 14-0 league win over Memorial (Frisco, TX).
