Eula Pirates (Clyde, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX), 3-2 in a league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Baird for a 2A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, March 31.

With the loss, Cisco falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Loboes travel to Albany (Albany, TX) to battle the Lions in a 2A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, March 24. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Albany won 13-1 in their recent league challenge against Santo (Santo, TX)
