Gordonsville Tigers (Gordonsville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Clay County Bulldogs (Celina, TN), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Boiling Springs for a 1A District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 23. Gordonsville will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 32-0 non-league loss to Smith County (Carthage, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Clay County falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Pickett County (Byrdstown, TN) to face the Bobcats in a 1A District 7 challenge on Thursday, March 23. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
