Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Wakeland Wolverines (Frisco, TX) and the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX), witnessed Wakeland's softball squad prevail over Creekview by a count of 17-6.

The Wolverines now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Frisco for a 5A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 24. Wakeland will face a Raccoons squad coming off a 8-7 league loss to Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Creekview moves to 6-10 on the season. The Mustangs host Reedy (Frisco, TX) to face the Lions in a 5A Region II District 9 match on Friday, March 24. The Lions go into the match with a record of 14-4. Reedy won 12-0 in their recent league match against Turner (Carrollton, TX)
