The Crosby Cougars softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Goose Creek Memorial Patriots to 2 in the Cougars league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Crosby improves its record to 15-5 on the year. The Cougars host Lee (Baytown, TX) to clash with the Ganders in a 5A Region III District 17 game on Friday, March 24. The Ganders come into the game with a record of 1-10. Lee lost 11-1 in their recent league game against Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX)

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Sterling Rangers (Baytown, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 game, on Friday, March 24. Goose Creek Memorial will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Rangers come into the game with a 8-11 record after their 12-0 league loss to Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX).
