Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Lions now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Center for a 4A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, March 24. Henderson will face a Roughriders squad coming off a 7-5 league loss to Carthage (Carthage, TX). The Roughriders record now stands at 1-5.

With the loss, Kilgore falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Spring Hill (Longview, TX) to face the Panthers in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge on Friday, March 24. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 17-7. Spring Hill lost 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX)
