King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC), 13-6 in a league challenge.

The Knights now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ridge Spring-Monetta for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 27.
