Little Elm Lobos (Little Elm, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), 4-1 in a league challenge.

The Lobos now own a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Allen for a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, March 28.

With the loss, Boyd falls to 14-8 on the campaign. The Broncos host Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to battle the Blue Hawks in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, March 24. The Blue Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 8-11. Rock Hill won 13-2 in their recent league challenge against McKinney (McKinney, TX)
