The Nixon-Smiley Mustangs softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Randolph Ro-Hawks to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Nixon-Smiley improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Luling (Luling, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 3A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, March 31. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-14.

In their next game, the Ro-Hawks clash with the Luling Eagles (Luling, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 game, on Friday, March 24. Randolph will attempt to better on its 0-19 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 17-9 non-league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).
