North Carolina High School Softball - Oak Grove bounces North Davidson

March 21, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27107

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) and the visiting North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC), witnessed Oak Grove's softball squad tip North Davidson by a count of 7-2.

The Grizzlies now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southwestern Randolph for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 22. Oak Grove will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, North Davidson moves to 3-2 on the season. The Black knights host Southern Alamance (Graham, NC) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Thursday, March 23. The Patriots go into the match with a record of 6-1. Southern Alamance won 15-0 in their recent league match against Northern Durham (Durham, NC)
