The Opp Bobcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Pike County Bulldogs to 0 in the Bobcats league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Opp improves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Bobcats host Straughn (Andalusia, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Area 2 game on Thursday, March 23. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 1-4. Straughn won 5-4 in their recent non-league game against Red Level (Red Level, AL)
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Elba Tigers (Elba, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 7. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
