Texas High School Softball - Tidehaven nudges Palacios

Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hallettsville for a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Saturday, March 25. Tidehaven will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 21-2.

With the loss, Palacios falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Yoakum (Yoakum, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge on Saturday, March 25. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Yoakum won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX)
