North Carolina High School Softball - Piedmont gets by Porter Ridge

The Piedmont Panthers got by the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates softball squad by a final score of 6-5 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Blue Devils go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Mooresville nudged West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 4-1, in a league battle.

The Pirates now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they host West Cabarrus for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 22. Porter Ridge will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-7.
