Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Red Bay Tigers (Red Bay, AL) and the visiting Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL), witnessed Red Bay's softball squad tip Tharptown by a count of 6-0.

The Tigers now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cherokee for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11.

With the loss, Tharptown moves to 6-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Winston County (Double Springs, AL) to meet the Yellowjackets in a 2A Area 10 match on Tuesday, March 28. The Yellowjackets go into the match with a record of 0-4. Winston County lost 9-0 in their recent non-league match against Gardendale (Gardendale, AL)
