Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), 10-0 in a league challenge.

The Irish now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Medford for a 6A Southwest challenge on Friday, March 24. Sheldon will face a Black Tornado squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Black Tornado record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Willamette falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines host South Eugene (Eugene, OR) to face the Axe in a 6A Southwest challenge on Saturday, March 25. The Axe enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
